Who Invented the Toilet?

I was staring at the wall in my room and I starting thinking, who invented the toilet? Well, I did some sort of twisted research and found the answer.

The first flush toilet was invented by Sir John Harrington in the 16th century, influenced by his wife, Edna "John, I don't want to go outside anymore!" Harrington. What did they do before the modern toilet? Did middle school students not flush all the toilets at once and leave?

And I won't even get started on how lousy my pie would have been without the refrigerator!
